Access and Equity Policy

Sydney Community College follows policies and procedures that seek to create a training and education environment free from all forms of discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment, and which enable all students to understand the education program in which they are enrolled or wish to enrol in to reach their full potential.

Our policies and procedures aim to promote fair and equal access for all students and potential students regardless of characteristics such as their sex or gender identity, sexuality, race, nationality, ethnic background, age, marital status, religion, pregnancy, political convictions, physical or intellectual disability or impairment. In disability service provision, Sydney Community College has quality standards consistent with the Disability Standards for Education 2005, which are aligned with the National Standards for Disability Services and the Disability Inclusion Act 2014.
