Course description

The Seniors Health & Fitness Package is a great unique exercise programme designed for members of the community who are over 50 years of age. This package incorporates a combination of exercises with the intention of strengthening health, body and mind.

The package includes access to two sessions per week for four weeks, at 90 minutes per session that’s only $9 per hour! Classes take place on Tuesday and Friday mornings.

In the heart of Camperdown, Sydney, your tutor will guide you through a combination of cardiovascular and resistence training.

Course Structure:

8.15am – 9.45am on Tuesdays and Fridays or as otherwise advertised.

Each class runs for 90 minutes and they have been designed to help you reach your fitness goals:

  • Feeling and looking fitter
  • Better flexibility, mobility and balance
  • Better management of arthritis, diabetes and blood pressure
  • Lowered risk of stroke and heart disease

Where?

This is an outdoor Fitness Class and takes place at the Sydney Centre for Tennis, Camperdown and the surrounding parkland. The centre is located at the back of the old Camperdown Bowling Centre on Mallet Street in Camperdown.

The gate at the Tennis Centre will remain locked until your tutor arrives each morning. If you arrive early please wait at the gate for David to arrive. On rainy days classes will go ahead as they take place in the tennis centre under the large covered area.

What to Bring

  • Sunblock and hat (when necessary)
  • Appropriate clothing for cooler months
