In this English Grammar intensive course, you’ll learn all the basic concepts and principles of grammar that you might never have been taught at school. Come along and find out! This course will empower you to identify errors and justify your corrections to your own writing or anyone else’s.
Using the standard ‘hard-copy editing’ marks, you’ll work with other participants to identify errors, correct sentences, justify your corrections and understand when more than one solution is acceptable.

By the end of this English grammar course, you will be able to

- discover how to define and explain key terminology
- know when to bend, break or keep a rule and when to use a convention
- employ some common-sense tips and tricks to apply to your own writing immediately

This course is for native English speakers or those who are fluent in English as a second language.
Students will learn the basic concepts and principles of grammar and learn key terminology.
There are no prerequisites for enrolling in the English Grammar Course other than reasonable fluency in the English language. The course level is for students who wish to improve their written English and justify the choices they make in their writing.
