Learn the language Indonesian in Sydney with this Beginners course.

You will learn how to communicate in Indonesian with simple vocabulary and basic sentences while exploring the Indonesian culture.

All four basic language skills (speaking, reading, listening and writing) will be covered and practiced so you can become a well-rounded speaker of the Indonesian language.

At the end of this course you will be able to hold a simple conversation in Indonesian with confidence.

  • invite others and accept/decline invitations
  • ask simple questions (to find out who, what, where, how many, what time, etc)
  • order food and drinks
  • make simple arrangements
  • identify some common transport, food, places, family members, animals and animal noises/actions
  • talk about actions in the past and present
  • recognise and use numbers up to 1 million
  • follow some directions to do physical actions
