Learn to use Emails with our Free Tech Savvy Seniors courses in Sydney.

Email is one of the fundamental internet technologies, a tool used by nearly every person with an internet connection. It allows you to – at no cost – send a letter of unlimited length to one person or many people at once. It arrives almost instantly, and they can reply straight away. Setting up your own email account will allow you to communicate with people you know in ways you never thought possible.

We offer a free, short, and friendly structured series of courses designed for people 60 years and older that will open the door to the world of digital technology. Tech Savvy Seniors Course is a government-funded program designed to assist seniors to acquire the basic technical skills required in everyday life in the digital age.

This ”Introduction to email” course is designed for complete beginners, even those without an email account, as well as those who do use email basically but want to know about other features.

You will learn what you need to get set up and how to use it.

This course gives you the tools to use email for corresponding online with friends, family, and businesses safely.

Is email different from webmail? What is an email browser? How do I save attachments I’ve received in an email? How do I attach documents to send to others? How do I send one email to multiple recipients easily?

Don’t worry. The experienced tutor uses simple relatable language and you will do simple exercises that will build your confidence.

This and other courses in the series are designed to assist you with 'everyday' tasks such as communication, social media, online safety awareness, entertainment and simply keeping your documents and correspondence organised.

These workshops are supported by the Department of Family and Community Services, State Training Services, and the Department of Education and Communities.
