Course description

MYOB V.19 course in Sydney.

The MYOB V.19 Day-to-Day course is designed for users who wish to learn how to use MYOB to manage accounting records for a small to medium business on a day-to-day basis. Students will gain the most from this course if you have a basic understanding of bookkeeping principals. Students will also learn some basics of BAS completion. This course will teach students the how to use MYOB to successfully manage account keeping.

The tutor will also discuss the MYOB Cloud Accounting software (AccountRight) and how it evolved from MYOB V.19.
This course will get you current in MYOB and managing your books expertly. And, if you employ staff, then consider enrolling in the MYOB Payroll course and make paying wages easier.

This course is run by a MYOB Certified Consultant who is also a BAS Agent, a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants and has a Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting). Learn from someone who knows accounting and the MYOB software and has been in business providing bookkeeping services for many years.
Students may consider completing the Bookkeeping and BAS course before MYOB Day to Day.

Course content

The skills and knowledge acquired in this course will allow the user to produce and manage purchase orders and invoices, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and produce BAS documentation.

Outcomes

By the end of this course you will have learned how to:

  • purchase items for a business in AccountRight
  • enter payments for purchases that have been made
  • produce more complex invoices
  • apply customer payments to open invoices
  • work with the inventory that has been set up in AccountRight
  • use AccountRight’s cheque facility for making purchases
  • reconcile AccountRight data against company bank statements
  • work with the reporting system in AccountRight
  • understand how AccountRight is set up and works with the GST
  • set up and complete a Business Activity Statement (BAS)

  • Please bring a pen, paper and USB to save your work
