Prerequisite knowledge for Excel Level 2 is that the learner has the knowledge required to create basic formulas using functions such as SUM and can comfortably edit, print and chart simple worksheets. A basic understanding of computers is assumed. Students should be familiar with the basic functions of a computer operating system including using a mouse and keyboard, copying and pasting, creating folders, opening files, saving files and know how to navigate a web browser.

Managing Workbooks

  • Insert and delete worksheets

Setting up for Printing – Using Page Setup

  • Learn techniques to manage large printouts such as scaling and titles

  • This class is taught in a Windows and Macintosh environment. We have available 8 Windows and 6 Macintosh computers. We do not reserve computers for students so arrive slightly early if using a certain type of machine is important to you.
