Course testimonials:

  • said: Nola's vast experience gave enormous colour to the course and as there were only a few of us we really covered a lot. Also the dynamic in the class was great

  • said: NOLA was such a wonderful, warm teacher who explained everything in detail & was patient when we had doubts or not understanding something. Highly recommended. Great Classmates too.

  • said: I thought the course was excellent and the tutor knowledgeable. I learned a lot. Nola has amazing industry experience and was very practical. The group size was small which enabled a lot of individual attention. Learning how to draft patterns for existing clothes was great. It would be good to extend the course and have a section on different neckline types, different sleeves and incorporating ease into patterns.

  • said: Very knowledgeable tutor gave us lots of information and practical advice on pattern making and helped us make our own patterns from the blocks we made in the introductory pattern making course. Lots of tips and shortcuts used in the fashion industry gave us an insight into how garments are made for the retail market too. Gave us confidence to make our own patterns for almost anything from now on. Thank you Nola.

  • said: The tutor sharing her knowledge of the fashion industry.
