Fabric Design Course for Digital Printing

View Classes

Learn hands-on fabric printing techniques with our printing courses in Sydney.

If you would like to learn how to design and produce your own fabric or wallpaper print then this is where to start. It’s easier than you think! Over these sessions you’ll be working alongside a professional textile designer, to create your own beautiful textile design using a combination of hand and digital illustration techniques.

You’ll then layout the design, choose your colour and fabric.

You could then go on to create your own stunning garment or item of soft furnishing with your fabric!

The possibilities are endless and it’s all your own work!

Please note that we currently offer two types of courses – classroom and live online via zoom platform. If you choose our live online option, a material kit with all necessary items will be delivered to your doorstep after enrolment.

Course testimonials:

  • said: I’m a graphic designer but have always wanted to know how to create fabric patterns. After finishing this course, I’m surprised how much we learnt in a short space of time and now feel confident that I have the skills to start making my first collection.

  • said: Excellent methodical tutor, lots of hands on learning, lots of time allowed for interaction with the tutor one on one. Problems with the room. Big and high monitors are obstructing the view of the course projection. Projection on a wall, unclear and poor quality!

  • said: Really enjoyed the course thoroughly under the tutor! He taught well, with a lot of patience and understanding if you don't grasp a concept in the first attempt. A well taught class with 1:1 with students, I learnt a lot about the career I want to pursue.

  • said: The course was very inspiring! I learned more than I expected. The tutor was enthusiastic and shared a lot of his knowledge. Gave me the push I needed to be creative again!

  • said: Loved the course, and rob was great - so much patience! Our class was only 5 people and I recommend capping the intake at around that size as Rob's time was very consumed by 3 ladies who were very new to computers and had loads of questions. My friend and i didn't require too much assistance, but if we wanted it, it would've been hard for one teacher to accommodate all. Also we always left at approx 3pm because 7 hours at the computer is a lot for a Saturday. Anyhow thanks again, i did love learning these skills and can't wait to do more :)
