Jacqueline Curry

Jacqueline Curry

Jacqueline Curry is a textile designer, illustrator, and educator with more than 20 years of experience working across the textile and design industries in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Throughout her career, she has designed printed and woven textiles, created original illustrations, and developed surface pattern designs for a wide range of products. Her creative practice combines both traditional and digital processes, drawing on tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Procreate alongside drawing, painting, embroidery, and textile-based crafts.

Pattern, colour, texture, and storytelling are central to Jacqueline's work. She is particularly interested in helping students transform their ideas into finished creative outcomes, whether that's a digital textile print, an illustration, or a handmade textile piece. Her teaching encourages experimentation, creativity, and the development of an individual visual style.

Known for her supportive and practical approach, Jacqueline enjoys helping students build confidence with both creative technologies and traditional making techniques. She is passionate about sharing the skills, processes, and inspiration that allow people to continue creating long after the course has finished.
