Learn how to write a memoir with our creative writing short courses in Sydney.

Put simply, life experience combined with a desire to write qualifies you to tell your own story.

Life’s challenges and complexities serve as grist for the writer’s mill and nobody navigates this life without struggle. Our experiences shape us and inform our worldview. Our personal circumstances, combined with our lived experience, our observations of the world, and our individual personality makes us unique; therefore the narratives of our lives are unique.

We will read, discuss and be inspired by excerpts from exemplary life-writing texts. With in-class writing exercises, we will focus on aspects of memoir writing and you will have the opportunity to share your work in a confidential and nurturing environment.
