Overwhelming at times, they challenge us to see, they challenge us to live. Harness Your Emotions is a teaching space where you learn to welcome your emotions and harness their power! What does it mean to Harness your Emotions? It means, utilizing the power of each emotion with the understanding they come with a purpose. For example; you may use lethargy to rest, you may use anxiety to see barriers or risks & you may use anger to activate action.

  • Skills & perspectives to help expand and create space for the emotion
  • Skills & perspectives to help harness the emotion
  • Your intentions for experiencing the emotion
  • (hopefully) a sense of confidence when experiencing the emotion moving forward.

Course content

What will be covered in this Harness Your Emotions workshop?

Harness Your Emotions" is a skill building, immersive workshop series! 

Guided by the Acceptance & Commitment (ACT) model of therapy, enlightened by somatic & energetic understandings of healing & inspired by "Decolonsing Therapy- Dr Jennifer Mullan" ideals. Harness Your Emotions is a reflective space where we welcome the emotion into the room & practice acknowledging, accepting & expanding before harnessing the emotion itself. A practical teaching space where we experience, expand and learn. You can expect to welcome the emotion into the room so we can learn to harness it together. 

Harness Your Emotions is a monthly workshop, each month we explore a different emotion, the insights from each emotion frequently informing the rest, as we learn to see emotion as water steadily flowing through our bodies.

  • FEB: Anger - Tuesday 24rd Feb 6-8pm
  • MARCH: Anxiety – Tuesday 24th March 6-8pm
  • APRIL: Passion – Tuesday 21st April 6pm-8pm

Intended audience

Who is this Harness Your Emotions workshop for?

This course is appropriate for anyone over the age of 18. If you experience emotions this workshop series is built for you! If you feel overwhelmed by your emotion, “out of control” or like your bursting at the seams this workshop will help you! We aren’t trying to stop feeling our emotions. We are learning to accept them, create space for them to exist without weighing you down & make choices while feeling them that add to the quality of your life! You will learn to use your feelings as a guide! They will become your greatest power.
