Course testimonials:

  • said: This was a good ‘refresher’ course for me having studied French before but with a few years break I found it slow at times with the other complete beginners however I did a lot of work at home to make up for this. The tutor was very good trying to cope with the mixed levels in the class - maybe a suggestion would be to take a test to gauge levels with possible students like me I am very glad to have taken this course & will continue studying.

  • said: The opportunity to build confidence with other beginners.

  • said: Our French Tutor, Khouloude Rachidi, was really terrific. She did loads of preparation and notes for us and was available if we had additional questions or queries. She also did little additional things like supplying links to TV, movies and documentaries for us to watch. The course moved quickly, so there was a lot to take in and learn, but that also made it interesting and challenging, which I also enjoyed. Thanks Khouloude and to Sydney Community College - it was fun. :)

  • said: Kathleen is a great teacher; patient, generous, gets everyone involved and working together. She goes at the right pace and makes you feel accomplished and wanting to learn more. She also makes it fun. Excellent course. Thanks Jackie

  • said: Being able to learn and understand a language I have been wanting to learn for a long time. Kathleen was an amazing and helpful teacher and I can’t wait to come back next term!
