In this sound design course you will use a DAW to edit the audio and add and adjust various sound recordings that will add atmosphere and depth to your production.

Facilities and Equipment

Special facilities and any equipment that will need to be supplied by the college.

This course uses DaVinci Resolve's Fairlight module as the Digital Audio Workstation to demonstrate and create Sound Design.  DaVinci Resolve is free to download and use for any purpose.

Course notes are comprehensive and provided by the instructor in PDF form.

What should I bring to class?

You will need to bring headphones or earphones with a 3.5mm plug. Apart from personal note-taking materials and headphones, nothing more is required by the student to attend/complete this course.
