Learn how to paint with an impressionistic style, at a painting course in Sydney.
Join this workshop to learn how to paint quick, expressive watercolours with fewer brush strokes.
Through detailed artist demonstration of a four-step method, you'll discover how you can create atmosphere (rather than strictly copying the subject matter) by using a limited palette, simplifying shapes and avoiding too many details. Working with large size brushes - adding shape against shape, stroke by stroke and not going over the same area twice - you can capture a scene, leaving large areas of paper untouched. This approach is fun, quick and gives paintings a truly fresh and spontaneous look.
Join this full-day workshop, with professional artist Tony Belobrajdic, to get inspiration and try new techniques in your painting. The class includes artist demonstrations, painting time, plus friendly discussion and feedback on your work.
