Learn how to paint, and how to use an impressionistic style, with our Painting courses in Sydney.
Join this workshop to learn how to paint quick and expressive watercolours with fewer brush strokes.
Through detailed artist demonstration and hands-on practice, you’ll discover how you can create atmosphere (rather than strictly copying the subject matter) by using a limited palette, simplifying shapes and avoiding too many details. Working with large size brushes – adding shape against shape, stroke by stroke and not going over the same area twice – you can capture a scene, leaving large areas of paper untouched.
This approach is fun, quick and gives paintings a truly fresh and spontaneous look.

All are welcome, but some watercolour or other painting experience will help.
