Pottery & Ceramics: Wheel Throwing Course for Intermediate

What you'll learn

Expand on your Wheel Throwing techniques in our new Pottery & Ceramics Wheel Throwing course for intermediate in Sydney!

You will get the best out of this intermediate-level course if you already know how to throw an even and symmetrical cylinder size of a cup. If you don't, no problem at all! Please start with our Wheel Throwing Course for Beginners and practice your throwing skills a bit before you sign up for this masterclass.

In this three-hour intermediate-level course, you will receive plenty of demonstration and time to practice your throwing techniques. You will find out how to throw and centre larger amounts of clay onto the wheel as well as learn additional techniques that will allow you to shape your clay into various forms and shapes such as a plate, or taller cylinder.

By the end of this Wheel Throwing course for intermediate, you will have created a beautiful ceramic piece that you can be truly proud of!

All materials are included in the course fee and you can keep three of the pieces you throw.

Please note, trimming and glazing are not included in this class. If you would like to trim and glaze your work you can sign up for two additional returning student classes to finish and take your pieces home after firing. If you are not interested in finishing your pieces and are only interested in learning the techniques, you can abandon your pieces and they will be recycled.
