Course testimonials:

  • said: Well structured workshop, knowledgeable teacher who provided just the right amount of guidance. Enjoyable experience, can't wait to put what I have learnt into practice.

  • said: Fun, encouraging, and I learnt so much.

  • said: I enjoyed this course - as a newbie to oil painting I learnt things specific to the medium that I did not know before. The teacher Sally is enthusiastic and helpful in giving tips and advice on painting knowledge and techniques, and other practical matters. I think it would be good to have some knowledge of colour theory before this class to understand the mixing of colours done in class. We were to complete 2 paintings in class - we had less than an hour to complete the 2nd one - but I was happy to finish with a completed painting. Looking forward to doing more oil painting!

  • said: I really learnt a lot by attending this oil painting workshop. Sally encouraged me to revive myself in art. I enjoyed the process of painting and I recommend whoever is interested in painting to take this workshop.

  • said: I am an experienced painter and teacher, however from the very first few minutes, Sally taught me a whole new way to look at what I am painting and how to convey what I see onto my surface. I also learn the first steps in the foundation of what I want to explore, the medium oils. Sally is an outstanding teacher and I hope our paths cross again so I can gain some more of her remarkable painting wisdom.
