Learn to play theatre sports games with our acting & drama courses in Sydney.

Perform Improvisation in front of a live audience! In this course, you will revisit and strengthen the skills learnt in Level 1, learn some basic performance tips & tricks, as well as being coached through a series of TheatreSports game structures.

Level 2 includes an informal performance for family & friends.

Please note: Not all game structures suit everyone, so at the end of the course, you’ll be given the opportunity to nominate any games you’d rather not play – the aim is to have fun and to put your best foot forward.

Our teachers

Impro Australia’s teachers are some of the most experienced TheatreSportstm teachers in the world. They are experts in their field and have a wealth of 
knowledge drawn from
many different creative disciplines. They are passionate about improvised theatre, and all regularly perform, direct & produce improvised theatre. Impro Australia’s teachers are state and national champions and have also won awards at international improvisation festivals. Our teachers apply their skill to the classroom to coach our students to success.

Public transport and parking direction:

Darlo Drama is located on Oxford Square, which is right at the intersection of Riley Street and Oxford Street, in the heart of Darlinghurst.

Public transport
We are a five-minute walk from Museum Railway Station, straight up to Oxford Street and a multitude of bus routes travel right passed our front door.

For those preferring to drive to Darlo Drama, street parking is available in the streets surrounding our school, but they are mostly metered and have a two-hour limit.
Most of our students prefer to park at Wilson Parking on Riley St, which is a short walk from Darlo Drama.
Wilson’s evening parking rate of $8 flat fee applies for entry AFTER 5pm and exit BEFORE 10pm.

Other information

  • Students should wear casual clothes with covered shoes, and bring a water bottle.
