My teaching style –
I like to teach because it helps students in the field of creativity and allows me to share my knowledge with them. I love designing and want to help others to fulfil their needs. Throughout the years I have had experience designing ranges, working with plenty of clients, working with fabrics, curtains and décor, and satisfying customers’ needs. Running my own business and working with clients has given me a wide understanding of what the customer demands.
I want the students to get an understanding of designing and bringing their ideas to reality. They will develop an understanding of materials used in society, colour and elements of design, and they will learn about creating their own individual style.
The Fashion Design and Pattern Making course will allow students to adapt or change commercial patterns to suit their designs.
Something unique or unusual that people might not know about me –
I enjoy helping others bring out their creativity, whether they are adults or children.
