My teaching style -
I love cooking and I love the cuisine from Pakistan where I come from. I find teaching about Pakistani cuisine a very satisfying and fulfilling experience. People generally associate Pakistani food with Indian food and I want to highlight the subtle differences. I want my students to learn about the use of spices and which spices go well with what. I prefer telling them about food as they are preparing it rather than spending time at the beginning of each class as it saves time and they learn more that way. I make my classes a hands-on experience rather than a demonstration.
