Alison Anderson
About Alison Anderson.
Alison have been teaching Chen Tai Chi for more than 13 years and have received instruction from a variety of Chinese Chen Tai Chi Chuan practitioners. Her training with the different Chen forms includes the sword, the staff (long and short), push hands and silk-reeling applications.
Her interest in energy practices began some 30 years ago. Under the guidance of Juan Li in France, Alison added bioenergetic taoism practices including qi gong and spiritual alchemy to her transcendental meditation practises.
She began her Tai Chi journey in Australia while studying oriental health therapies and becoming a qualified integrated body massage therapist.
The more she advanced in Tai Chi, the more she realised the importance of participating fully in the process of the inner journey towards self-knowledge, harmony and unity. The intention is to reach the destination but to be fully present to the discoveries that both the outer and inner journeys offer.
Alison greatly enjoys sharing what she has learned by presenting Tai Chi in not only its physical aspects but also incorporating its energetic and spiritual principles.
Her manner of teaching is simple, practical and straightforward mixed with enthusiasm and humour.
