Hamid Yahyaei

Hamid is Director of Financial Modelling at Macroeconomics Advisory, a passionate Financial Economist, and an aspiring academic. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance and a Master of Research in Applied Finance both from Macquarie University.

Hamid's research explores the intersection between the macroeconomy and financial markets. He is particularly interested in understanding the implications of central bank policy on asset prices and has written extensively on the effects of large-scale stimulus. 

Hamid teaches with an interactive and engaging style. He places emphasis on class involvement and discussion of the topics and leverages his experience in ensuring the key learning points are taught with simplicity.

Hamid's teaching style is based upon the idea that demystifying complex concepts can allow students to grasp the notions, allowing for a fun, memorable, and worthwhile learning experience.
