David Berghouse
Country of Birth
Australia
Experience
As a Sydneysider for most of his life, David Berghouse became a ‘refugee from Sydney’ in 2002 by relocating to the Mid-North Coast. That means he has first-hand experience with the challenges – good and bad — associated with sea/tree changing. Through navigating his own sea change, David is able to expertly help other people avoid some of the unnecessary mistakes they make when moving to their ‘nirvana’ â€" it’s not like it is on holidays!
Achievements
This is David’s second training stint at Sydney Community College. Prior to escaping
from Sydney eight years ago, he conducted a number of computer training
courses. His work outside the training sphere involved the
Internet and its use for business.
Teaching Style
David’s teaching style is collaborative where the emphasis is on promoting lively discussion and providing honest and open answers to students’ questions.
