Eva Dominello
Eva originally started making jewellery in 2000, later completing a glass blowing course through Sydney University's Continuing Ed Program. This was followed by a lampworking course through Kuringai Council's Arts Program.
In 2007 and 2018, Eva went on to complete a lampworking course in Venice on Murano Island. She has also completed a course on glass slumping and fusing.
Apart from making her own beads, Eva works with antique Venetian Glass beads and combining the two has enabled her to make unique jewellery.
In her classes she likes to focus on teaching the basic skills, while also allowing her students to experiment with the flame, the glass rods and other materials. In her words, Eva is always “prepared to experiment”.
