What you'll learn
Learn how to sing with our music & singing short courses in Sydney!
In our singing lessons for beginners, basic techniques of voice production are explored in a group setting. The aim is to help students develop vocal freedom and increase their confidence in their voice and how to use it. Singers will learn how to utilise the whole body efficiently to make singing easier and more enjoyable!
This fun eight-week course combines the practical with the technical - all designed to help you make the most of your voice. Minh said: Absolutely fantastic, highly enjoyable and engaging. Was quite evident with student retention from start to finish! Has improved my vocal range and most importantly given me so much more confidence and motivation to practice and just enjoy singing. As suggested by the end of the class - we'd love a beginner's choir course to be facilitated by Luke, certain that we can easily rack up the minimum 6 count.

Stacey said: Luke was fantastic and even though it was all over Zoom he gave us all confidence to have a go, and it was a great, fun environment- I enjoyed it more than I thought, thank you Luke!

Monica said: Loved this course. Went in thinking I could never sing in front of an audience but finished with a solo performance. Who would have thought it! Luke was a great teacher. Just the right mix of theory and practice and lots of fun. He made it non-threatening and encouraged all students to do their best and gave constructive feedback to each of us. He is a very generous person both with his time and with his knowledge. I would recommend this course for anyone who just loves to sing for the sake of it. The class thought it would be good to follow this with a choir just for beginners, nothing too serious, just a chance to practice and have some fun. I understand there is already a college choir but it is by audition only and seems to be classical. I'm looking for something a bit less formal. I hope the college takes on this suggestion. Luke said he would be prepared to lead it if there was enough interest and the college was happy to do it.

Galini said: I took the course to help with issues with my voice. Luke teaching approach goes beyond what would be a stock standard class. He was very approachable and informative and offered very practical and useful skills as well as personal support when needed. His passion not only for singing but teaching is very evident as he went out of his way to make us all feel very comfortable and the end result was a confident and outgoing group. I certainly came away with a much more skillful approach towards my voice.
