Course description

Learn Italian in Sydney with this beginner’s class.

Italian is a beautiful, intricate and melodic language and you can find its influence in many aspects of our life and culture. It is considered one of the easier languages to learn – it is pronounced how it’s written, so it is great for new language learners. Once you have learned the sounds and mastered the sing-song intonation, Italian is a fun and easy language to learn.

In this Italian for Beginners course you will learn about the Italian language and culture in an informal, practical and interactive way. Our professional and well-experienced Italian tutors will help you to gain a solid foundation of the Italian language to communicate in Italian with simple vocabulary and basic sentences.

  • give and request personal details such as phone numbers and addresses
  • order and pay for food and drink at a bar or restaurant
  • ask simple questions (such as who... ?, when... ?, where... ?, etc.)
  • say the days of the week and the months
  • speak about the weather and say the seasons
  • say the names of different countries and locations
  • ask for and tell the time
  • express things you like and dislike, and agreement and disagreement
