Learn and practice Spanish Grammar with our Spanish language short courses online & in Sydney!
This course is a review of all the grammar aspects covered in beginners level 1 of Spanish.
It helps students to reinforce their knowledge of the language structure and prepares them for undertaking more advanced courses of Spanish. This course will help you to familiarise yourself with grammar terminology in a way which is engaging and interesting.
The course is organised in two modules, each one covering grammar theory and a number of exercises which will be resolved together with the tutor.
Please note, that our language courses are held live online via Zoom.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this Spanish grammar course, you should be able to:
- Understand basic grammar terminology in Spanish.
- Recognize every lexical category: articles, pronouns, prepositions, adverbs, and so on.
- Understand the difference between tense and mood.
- Understand the difference between ser and estar (both usually translated as “to be” in English).
- Conjugate regular verbs in the present tense of the indicative.
- Conjugate some irregular verbs, reflexive verbs and special verbs in the present tense of the indicative.
- Compare Spanish grammar and English grammar.
- Speak and write more confidently in Spanish.

- Conjugation of special verbs (such as gustar, encantar, interesar) in the present tense of the indicative mood.
- Conjugation of reflexive verbs in the present tense of the indicative mood.
