- My book ‘Producing Videos: A Complete Guide’ was chosen as best Technical/Vocational book of 2003 by The Australian Publishers Association.
My teaching style –
My classes are very hands-on. People are using video cameras from day one. I use lots of training tapes, personal anecdotes and practical exercises to immerse people in developing their production skills right from the start. Class sizes are small and very sociable.
Something unique or unusual that people might not know about me –
I supervise Work for the Dole projects. Last year we produced a video to help with settlement for the Sudanese refugee community in Australia, in the Dinka language. This year we’re doing one in Amharic for the Ethiopian refugee community.
