Experience
Ian has 20 years of professional experience in the display and framing of works of art. He has worked for a wide range of organisations including commercial art galleries, public institutions and framing studios in London and Sydney. Ian is currently a Conservation Framing Consultant at Andersen Shaw & Associates (ASA) Conservation Framing in Sydney and is Director of Critical Field Contemporary Art. He guest lectures regularly at COFA (UNSW) and has presented papers on framing theory at the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, and at the 2011 Art & Framing Expo, Sydney Convention Centre.
