Alicia Gonzalez

About Alicia Gonzalez

Alicia Gonzalez is a Sydney-based performer, director and facilitator with a focus on clowning, physical theatre and creative expression. Trained at L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, she brings a strong foundation in movement, play and embodied performance to her teaching.

With experience across theatre, education and community settings, Alicia has worked extensively with diverse groups, including in hospitals as a medical clown. This work has shaped her ability to create safe, engaging environments where participants can explore vulnerability, connection and spontaneity.

Alicia designs and delivers workshops for individuals, performers and organisations. Her teaching approach emphasises practical, hands-on learning, encouraging participants to step beyond self-consciousness and develop confidence through play.

At Sydney Community College, Alicia supports adult learners to build creative confidence, strengthen communication skills and engage more fully with others through embodied practice.
