Couture Bead Masters
Couture Bead Masters celebrates the traditional art of couture beading, offering specialised training in refined embellishment techniques used in high-end fashion. With roots in the fashion, film, and theatre industries, the organisation brings a wealth of industry knowledge into a contemporary learning environment.
At the heart of its teaching is the Luneville technique — a highly skilled method of embroidery still practised in Parisian couture houses today, with origins dating back to the early 1800s. Through hands-on workshops and structured learning, students are introduced to professional techniques that can be applied to fashion, costume, and textile design.
Couture Bead Masters is committed to preserving these artisanal skills and making them accessible to modern makers. Alongside workshops, they offer access to specialist materials and resources, supporting designers and enthusiasts to develop their craft and continue the tradition of couture embellishment.
