About Sarah Bilbao

Sarah Bilbao is a registered nurse and midwife with more than 35 years of experience in women’s health, reproductive health and community health education. Throughout her career she has worked across hospitals, specialist clinics and public health services, supporting women through many stages of life including fertility, pregnancy, sexual health and menopause.

Sarah has held senior clinical roles within NSW Health, including Clinical Nurse Consultant positions in menopause care, sexual health and women’s health services. In these roles she has provided specialist clinical advice, delivered education programs for consumers and health professionals, and contributed to initiatives that improve women’s access to evidence-based care. Her work has included community education programs designed to support women from diverse cultural backgrounds to better understand their health and wellbeing.

In addition to her clinical practice, Sarah holds a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing from the University of Sydney and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, reflecting her commitment to education and knowledge sharing.
