Gordon Liu

Gordon Liu has been practising Ikebana for more than 10 years and is a certified Instructor of the Ohara School of Ikebana. He is currently the Treasurer of the Ohara School of Ikebana Sydney Chapter, where he helps support and strengthen the activities of the local Ikebana community.

His dedication to Ikebana has taken him to Japan, where he advanced his studies at the Ikebana World Seminar in Osaka. He has also exhibited his work in Ikebana exhibitions and shared the art with the wider community through demonstrations, where he introduces both the beauty and philosophy of Ikebana.

In his teaching, Gordon emphasises an approachable and enjoyable style, encouraging students to discover their own creativity while learning the fundamental forms.
