Paul Hoppe

Paul is an accomplished writer and educator with over 25 years of experience working in international film and television (15+ of those years were spent working as a writer and script doctor in the film industry under the famous Hollywood Sign). He has written screenplays for Disney and Nickelodeon in the United States and has created several television shows for international markets.

In 2006 Paul rewrote his most-optioned screenplay as a Young Adult (YA) novel, earning him a two-book writing deal with Penguin/Dutton. From YA Paul turned to adult thrillers and is currently working on a 4-book series. The first novel, “The Curse of Van Gogh”, was published in 2014.

With almost 10 years of experience teaching scriptwriting to college students in Reno, Nevada, in the United States, Paul is passionate about helping students discover their potential and get their ideas out into the world.

Paul has lived on 4 different continents but now calls Australia home.
