Roukaya Chaaban

Roukaya is a Palestinian French teacher from Lebanon, with over 13 years of experience delivering French classes to children, teens and adults. Her previous roles include teaching for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees schools in Lebanon and being an examiner for DELF (A1-B2 levels) at the French Institute of Beirut. 

At present, Roukaya is a French Tutor at the University of Sydney and at Sydney Community College. She is also a French Teacher at the Alliance Française Sydney and online for the employees of Naval Group Australia at the Alliance Française Adelaide. 

Roukaya's lessons involve a variety of authentic teaching methodologies to motivate and encourage her students. She believes that “good learning is inherently pleasurable, and without pleasure, there is no good learning”.
