Clare Nicholson
Clare Nicholson is an exhibiting sculptor and painter. She holds a 1st class PhD (Sculpture), a 1st class Master of Visual Arts degree (Sculpture), an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree (Painting) and a Graduate Diploma of Education.
Clare has taught in the sculpture department at UNSW's School of Art & Design and within remote and rural high schools. She has also worked as a wax technician in a lost wax bronze casting foundry.
Clare’s expansive art practice includes advanced professional mould-making for a range of materials including ceramic, plaster, wax, concrete, sugar, resin, ballistics gel, polyurethane and low melt alloys.
