Antonella Floyd
An Australian-born Italian, Antonella discovered her love of cooking as a little girl. She spent many hours in the kitchen with her mother, learning and taking note of the traditional methods and family secrets of true Italian cooking.
Today, Antonella still loves cooking and remains faithful to the traditional values, whilst combining authentic recipes and ingredients with modern trends, tastes and techniques.
As a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute, she has worked as a chef in a variety of restaurants. She has also produced and marketed a range of gourmet Italian products at farmers markets throughout Sydney.
Since 2008, Antonella has been sharing her knowledge and passion through her Italian cooking classes. She believes cooking Italian food is about achieving excellent flavours without it having to be difficult and always using fresh, quality ingredients.
Antonella’s classes are a fun, hands-on, personalised learning experience, where she shares her personal recipes, lots of tips along the way, a little about the Italian culture and you can even learn some Italian words while cooking and eating delicious food.
