Amber Sewell-Green

Amber Sewell-Green is one of only a few vegan/plant-based Accredited Practising Dietitian / Nutritionists currently in Australia.
She completed her Bachelor, Masters and Honours degrees at the University of Newcastle and has received training overseas with leading experts in public health. She is also trained in paediatric nutrition, bariatric nutrition and emotional freedom techniques (EFT).
Amber has been a regular contributor and guest expert speaker in the media, podcasts and at wellness retreats – which she fits in alongside her full time Nutritionist practice and small group education talks.
Amber is trained in evaluating health science and nutrition literature so she can provide you with evidence based and effective advice – no pseudo science. However she is also a strong believer in mind-body nutrition and body positivity. So Amber applies mindful and intuitive eating techniques to assist behavior change and empower clients to improve their health and nutrition from the inside out.
Amber is a member of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and regularly attends lifestyle medicine conferences.
“To my knowledge my great, great grandfather actually opened one of the first health food stores in Australia, so connection to food and the environment feels natural to me. Not to mention my name is 'Green' haha. For me food is the lynch pin connecting people to the earth, each other and other beings. Food is my medicine and my connection. And I hope to help make it yours too!”
In her spare time Amber is an avid yogi, latin dancer and nature hiker, As well as a committed foodie!
