Jun Morooka
Born in Tokyo, former chef Jun Morooka moved to Australia in 1984, where he ran a busy Japanese restaurant in Manly.
In 2015 he fell in love with the beauty of Kintsugi, sold his reastaurant and returned to Japan to commence his study of the art.
Several years on, Jun has studied Kintsugi under 5 different Masters of the art across Japan – and he now produces Kintsugi art and repairs from his own studio in Sydney.
