Kate Baker
Kate Baker graduated with First Class Honours from the Glass Workshop at the Australian National University School of Art (Canberra) in 1999.
Currently a practising artist based in Sydney, Kate regularly exhibits both nationally and internationally. A finalist in several art prizes both here and overseas, Baker was the winner of the biennial juried international glass competition e-merge at Bullseye Glass in the USA in 2010.
Kate has taught glass-making techniques in several contexts, including as a lecturer and demonstrator at Sydney College of the Arts, Sydney University, Rozelle.
In 2014, she founded Studio4, a creative studio collective in Sydenham with a purpose-built glass studio where she is currently based.
