Ian brings to the Board extensive knowledge in education practice and theory. His work within Government includes leading major reforms in the NSW vocational education and training (VET) sector. His research work includes examination of the transition from education and training to work.


Active community volunteer including, currently, as Crew Training Coordinator for the Tall Ship James Craig operated by Sydney Heritage Fleet.
