Resume
Recent History
Recent resort shoots have taken me to the Corinna Wilderness Lodge in Tasmania, Tower Estate in The Hunter Valley, and the Arajilla resort on Lord Howe Island. Resort shooting requires photographic skills in architecture, interiors and food.
I started shooting resorts 20 years ago with Hayman Island where I was resident photographer shooting interiors, architecture, food, and lifestyle.
Detailed History
Thirty years experience working as a professional photographer. In the early days I was teaching fine art photography full time at TAFE whilst working on photographic projects funded by local councils. I left teaching to shoot full time as a freelancer shooting resorts, interiors and architecture. All this work has been published in brochures, magazines and used for web advertising. Working on location means you have to create the studio for every shot in varying lighting and architectural situations which is challenging and therefore exciting.
I currently work for a few long standing clients while pursuing my own artwork, time-lapse landscape works with sound.
