Course description

Learn the skills for Resin Jewellery and/or Homewares in Sydney.

In this fun and creative Resin Arts of Jewellery and Homewares for Beginners workshop you will learn how to put your own personality into a piece of jewellery and/or homewares. Create stunning and unique pieces that are one of a kind.

Our well experienced and enthusiastic tutor will teach you step by step how to work with the two different types of resin (slow setting and fast setting resin) while giving you some background information on the medium.

You will be given 300g of slow setting resin as well as 300g of the fast setting resin – enough to experiment, learn and practice how to correctly mix it, tint it, and embed fun things like dried flowers, photos or little figures in it.

After completing this workshop you will have the skills and knowledge to create more terrific pieces at home for yourself, to give as gifts or even sell in your own business.

With the kit you are given on the day you can create either:

  • Bangles
  • Rings
  • Pendants

or:

  • Homewares, such as small platters and/or little bowls

Please be aware that homewares utilises more resin than jewellery and as such you will be able to make more jewellery pieces than homewares.
