Course description

Learn pilates in Sydney with this beginners class.

Join our professional Pilates sessions that will tone your body fast. Our dynamic classes will have you growing stronger – from the inside, out! Pilates reshapes, re-balances & realigns the body using a series of slow controlled moves which target the core & improves flexibility, strength & mobility.

Your enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructor will offer you a great range of structured exercises at varied ability levels to get the best results.

Course content
  • Pilates basics & principles
  • Exercises are taught in visual, auditory, kinesthetic explanation and demonstration so the student can encompass this very important yet difficult concept to the Pilates method
  • Our classes target the whole body giving you a balanced approach to stretching and strengthening
  • Techniques are taught to turn off the muscles that interfere with the operation of core stabilisation
  • Safer and more effective ways of moving are taught using Pilates based exercises to switch the abdominal muscles on
Outcomes

By the end of the course you will:

  • be able to perform simple Pilates movements while incorporating Pilates breathing techniques
  • have knowledge and felt good body posture
  • understand how to switch off muscles holding stress and effectively switch on core stabiliser muscles
  • the ability to perform the skills in class and everyday living
