Course description

Learn street photography practical skills with this photography class.

Urban Photo walks is a street-style photography course that provides the skill set for capturing the diversity of styles of street images, currently undergoing a world-wide popularity surge. The course content includes street shooting – the techniques and styles of images; on how to take photos on the street, what to look for, and how to take photos of strangers.

The course starts with coverage of the quick and clean history of street photography and gives feedback on appropriate camera equipment, street behaviour and protocols, and guides you on permissions, laws and regulations. This is a hands-on course with time spent shooting on the street and a specific street challenge to execute. Reasonable camera skills are required for this course and any camera is ok to use.

If you are brand new to photography, perhaps a camera skills course would be best to start with, before enrolling in the Urban Photo walks course.

If you want to Learn about the practical application of your photography skills in Sydney, then this course is for you.
