Course description

Learn how to prepare authentic Spanish Paella, Churros & Sangria in this hands-on class.

Hola Friday, the only decision you should need to make today is if you will have white or red sangria!

This class commences with a nice chilled summery Sangria filled with ice, fizz and seasonal fruit to celebrate the end of the week. Spanish Chef Ricardo Zaratustra will show you how to make some delicious Tapas to commence the evening... as we know you will be hungry and then work together to learn everything there is to know about The Art of Paella. Finish this night of fun with some freshly baked Churros dipped in warm chocolate… what a way to start the weekend!

This is a 3-hour, hands-on class that includes a sit-down dinner and drinks.

Growing up on the Canary Islands Ricardo is a specialist for great seafood dishes. With his knowledge and his sparkly personality, Ricardo will share his family recipes and show you how to make a fresh Seafood Paella – traditionally colourful and packed with flavours.

Please note: Street parking is very limited nearby. You might try St Margaret’s Car Park at 417-435 Bourke Street, Surry Hills. It is a 5-minute walk from the venue, with casual parking rates after 5pm at approx. $4/hour.

On the day...
  • We’ve cut out disposable plastics, so please bring your own food containers to take any leftovers home
  • All participants must wear closed-in shoes
  • Aprons supplied, but dress appropriately for the kitchen, and tie back long hair
  • Arrive up to 15 minutes before the class start time
