Course description

Build on your basic German language foundation in Sydney with this Level 2 class.

“Wer rastet, der rostet.” – another German saying, meaning “use it or lose it”.

You learned the basics of the German language, now it is important to keep working on your language skills. Become more confident, practice and learn how you can make yourself understood in simple, daily situations.

In this Beginners Level 2 course you will expand your vocabulary and explore how to express yourself more clearly, giving you plenty of speaking and listening practice while you learn more of the building blocks of basic grammar.

  • share details about family relationships and leisure activities and pursuits
  • communicate your health to a doctor
  • create simple sentences and further build on the building blocks of basic grammar, including personal pronouns, verbs with vowel changes, possessive adjectives, plural of nouns, accusative and imperative
  • speak more confidently with better pronunciation and extended vocabulary
