Course description

Learn chocolate tempering, moulds and more at this hands-on half day workshop in Sydney.

Enter the sweet and luxurious world of chocolate as you custom design your own chocolate bars and treats. You’ll learn about tempering and how to mould the perfect shiny chocolates and bars. You’ll learn where quality chocolate comes from and how it’s made. Then the fun really starts as you bling it up with colours and toppings to create your own unique chocolate bars – they make the perfect gifts!

Course content
  • Tempering theory and practice
  • Tips to achieving shiny chocolates
  • DIY bars, including:
  • moulding chocolate bars with fair trade European couverture dark chocolate
  • decoration with lustre colours and toppings selected from over 35 vegan friendly options
  • Setting and demoulding chocolates
  • Make a second chocolate treat (rocky road, chocolate bark or chocolate pops)
  • Make a final treat (Dream Egg Lava Mug Cake, Belgian style hot chocolate or chocolate frappe)
  • Chocolate tips and tricks
Course fee includes
  • All materials and ingredients
  • Three custom made chocolate bars plus your choice of a rocky road, chocolate bark or truffles to take home ($50 value)
  • Refreshments (tea/coffee/champagne & chocolate dipped strawberries)

Please note: This course is suitable for vegans as all ingredients used are plant-based. No dairy products are used.

Please come prepared
  • Wear comfortable closed shoes (no heels or open toed shoes)
  • Dress warm, our kitchen runs at 18-22 degrees C (perfect chocolate making conditions)
  • Long hair must be tied back
