Learn how to make your own haloumi, yoghurt and soft cheeses at this workshop in Sydney.

Everybody say “cheese”! Fresh, creamy and so tasty, these dairy basics are quick and easy to make at home in your own kitchen – once you know how. Imagine all those dairy staples in your fridge, without any of the additives – or packaging!

Join this workshop to learn how to turn fresh milk into delicious cheeses, tangy yoghurt, and more. You’ll also learn how to make a marinated labne, plus how to get that lovely cultured flavour into natural butter.

This course is suitable for beginners and home cooks wanting to expand their skills.

On the menu
  • Haloumi
  • Fresh Ricotta
  • Greek-style yogurt
  • Labne (spice crusted and herbed)
  • Cultured butter

The workshop will conclude with a light meal to taste the items we’ve made. You’ll take home fresh ricotta and marinated labne.

Materials

All ingredients are provided.

Please come prepared
  • Please bring two small clean tight-seal glass jars to take you labne and ricotta home
  • Please bring an apron or wear clothes that can get messy
  • Wear closed in shoes
  • If you have long hair, tie it back
