Course description

Learn to creatively explore your thoughts and feelings through three different writing processes: journalling, letter writing and short fiction peices.

As we go through our busy lives often worrying about our current challenges, be it in our career, relationships, parenting or goals for the future, we may not feel quite at ease or content. Our thoughts often drift in and out as we get on with the tasks of daily living but we never quite shift the feeling of confusion.

How can we pin down our thoughts and make sense of them? Writing our thoughts and feelings down can capture and crystallize them and liberate us from confusion. We can build a greater understanding of ourselves and move forward. We can also explore our dreams and plans for the future.

In this course we will explore a number of writing forms as vehicles to capture our thoughts and feelings: journaling, letter-writing and short fiction pieces.

Please note that this course is not a substitute for psychological counselling but a creative outlet that enhances wellbeing.
